Full Description of event/sighting: I work manage a large hotel here in Niagara Falls. It's 31 stories and 402 rooms. At approx: 10:30pm I was standing out front of the hotel with one of my security officers. I was looking left down the street and my officer was looking out over the Niagara river. My officer then said to me, either someone just went in the river and they are looking for him or that's a UFO out there. I immediately looked out over the river to see a huge bright white light coming towards us down the river. I have seen many aircraft in this area over the falls and river but never a light this bright. It was traveling very fast right towards us. Before it came over the falls the bright light blinked out and was much dimmer now. I ran to the side street next to the hotel realizing that it was going to fly right above me. As it passed over me and I yelled to my security officer that it was triangle shaped, had white lights on the tip and two on the back. It was approximately 25 to 30 feet long. It also had a pulsing red light underneath.
It flew maybe 50 to 75 feet above the hotel to the left. It did not make a sound. The night was very clear at 10:30pm and there was no street noise where we are. The object was completely silent. It wasn't until the weekend that I found out there was a newspaper article in regards to the object on the same evening that we saw it. Full Description of event/sighting: Between 9:45 - 10:00pm Wed. April 9th a friend and myself were sitting in my living room watching TV. I live in a penthouse apt. in downtown Winnipeg. I had my balcony doors party open, it was getting a bit chilly so I got up to close them. I looked out towards the Apt. building that faces mine and out of no where I saw 4 bright lights in a triangle shaped pattern, moving very slowly. I yelled for my friend to come look, (I wasn't sure if I was possibly seeing things) because I was in total disbelieve to what I was witnessing. I asked her. "Do you see that" ? She said holy crap what is that. I said I don't know and we watched it move slowly over the other building and then it just shot off to the west and disappeared as fast as it appeared. Both of us were freaking out, we went back to the couch and were stunned in what we saw. I got back up went on to my balcony, thinking to myself, "did we just see what looked like a UFO"? I looked directly above me and there was a single star like object (bright like a star) moving back and forth hovering above my head. Once again I yelled to my friend and again she saw it and then with in seconds it shot straight across the sky west bound and disappeared.
We were both freaked out, and unsure what too do or if we should tell anyone, thinking our friends would think were nuts.

It was not a high altitude aircraft. It was a massive V shaped craft that I claimed to be over a mile long! And it did not fly high over my head Mr. Shermer. It passed in front of me Just above treetop level and completely silent. And something else, Mr. Shermer...I could tell it was a single massive object as it was visible in the "grey" background of the Phoenix metro area's lights. I had a grey background to view a black massive mile-long V shaped craft. This was 8:30 PM. The "intentional diversionary flare drop" was at 10PM. But, they just had to mix the timeline up and intentionally confuse everyone. Now, let's talk about something else in the Phoenix Lights case. I prefer to call it "The Massive UFO Flyover of Arizona, March 13, 1997". First was the failure to disclose the timeline. One part of the magnificent evening that you debunkers fail to distort is the 5:30 PM, MST., daytime sightings from Sunset Point near Crown King, Arizona. Yes, again I will say it...daytime sighting. This is where all three massive V shaped craft were seen together...hovering near Crown King. Sixteen known witnesses pulled off the I-17 to watch in amazement as 2 fighter jets approached from the south. The 3 massive V shaped craft then "pancaked" on top of each other, formed a white ball of light, and vanished! Whoa! That might be a little too strong for you! Do you need to lie down?Well, how about this....a search and rescue joint practice for fire fighters and police was being held in the far north valley. (Cave Creek) This was near 8:25 PM, MST. Guess what? A slow moving, V shaped craft of unearthly size "floated" overhead. They all stood and stared in total amazement. They tried to get the helicopter pilot to go up and see what this "other worldly object" was. He refused to do so.Do you want more? What stops a little league game? As one of the massive objects passed at an incredible low altitude the game was stopped. Not by parents or umpires, but to the amazement of what all in attendance were seeing. Not one player, parent, coach or umpire yelled, "it's an airplane" or "it's a flare" but they all stood in total amazement as the massive V shaped object slowly passed overhead without making a sound.Want more? How about an airline captain who was told, "we are not a threat", as the massive object passed overhead. What about two college professors and their daughters who witnessed the massive object on the I-10 heading towards Phoenix as the craft approached directly overhead? The object reversed itself and was now above their BMW going backwards. The driver was told, "Keep on driving, this does not concern you!"There is so much more, but I know that all this will "fall on your deaf ears." But when you claim that we did not see what we are trying to describe, it really irks me. What incentive is there to deceive and mislead the viewing public. I guess that's the order...so the people will just go to bed and not worry about these things. APRIL 13, 2013 - UNITED STATES - A group hoping to prove alien contact with Earth has tapped former U.S. Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick to help convince the federal government to acknowledge the existence of extraterrestrials.
The Detroit Democrat and mother to former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick will help preside over 30 hours of congressional-style hearings April 29 to May 3 at Washington's National Press Club. She did not respond to calls for comment.
Dubbed the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure, the public panel pledges to expose evidence of "extraterrestrial vehicles" and a government effort to deny sightings of such craft commonly called UFOs.
Stephen Bassett, executive director of the Bethesda, Md.-based Paradigm Research Group that is hosting the hearings, said he sought former members of Congress to interview dozens of witnesses in a style that harkens back to their work peppering witnesses in congressional hearings.
"I had invitations out to about 50 former members who I thought were likely candidates to participate, and Congresswoman Kilpatrick was the first one to respond," Bassett said.
Kilpatrick became a U.S. representative in 1997 but lost her seat to Hansen Clarke after a 2010 primary challenge.
Kilpatrick will be joined by five other former members of Congress for the hearings. Each will be paid about 20,000 and their expenses will be covered, Bassett said.

Joining Kilpatrick on the bipartisan panel are ex-Sen. Mike Gravel of Alaska (Democrat and more recently Libertarian), as well as former Reps. Lynn Woolsey, D-Calif., Darlene Hooley, D-Ore., Roscoe Bartlett, R-Md., and Merrill Cook, R-Utah.
The chosen panel members weren't required to believe in aliens or a government cover-up, but pledged to keep an open mind.
"I made it clear to them that I am unlikely to be persuaded," Utah's Cook told the Salt Lake Tribune. "Extraterrestrial life? I can buy into that as a possibility, but to this day I have not heard or read or seen anything that makes me believe that anyone has encountered one on Earth."
The Paradigm Research Group disagrees. "We've been tracking these (extraterrestrial) crafts for decades," Bassett said. The evidence is "overwhelming - beyond any reasonable doubt there's an extraterrestrial presence (and) almost certainly from another planet," he said.
The five days of testimony are to be filmed and included in a documentary.
Bassett started the Paradigm Research Group, a lobbying organization, in 1996 urging the government to reveal evidence of extraterrestrials engaging the human race.
The organization collected enough signatures from fellow alien believers on a White House citizen petition Web page in 2011 to generate an official response.
"The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race," Phil Larson, from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, wrote in response to the petition. "In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public's eye."
The Wall Street Journal devoted part of a 2011 article on the White House's "We the People" petition project to Paradigm Research Group.
Bassett said he hopes the hearings will generate enough attention for the government to change its mind.
"There is a government policy of denial," Bassett said. "And once that policy ends, we are going to learn the truth about this phenomenon pretty quickly." - DETROIT NEWS.
