Apparently the UFO subject just won't go away:
"Top-secret details about hundreds of sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects are to be released for public viewing in response to the nation's continuing fascination with the subject. The Ministry of Defence will release a total of 160 files dating back to that time to the National Archives in Kew. The first files will be made available in Spring 2008 and the process is expected to take three years."While we applaud the release of files, we also note that any material sensitive enough to have been a serious concern for national security would be an on-going issue -- so don't expect Earth-shattering revelations.
It is more likely that the file release is intended to pacify the public desire to learn what their governments have been hiding from them all these years.
Meanwhile, we continue to wonder what might be found in the 50,000 or so pages of CIA STAR GATE files that remain unreleased.
