The object moved very slowly towards the woods, seeming to be unaware of our presence or not to care that we saw it. I tried desperately to get my cell phone to come on so I could take a picture but it would not work. I thought the battery was drained, but after the object was out of sight the phone resumed working. Next, we turned to go back into the house and something caught my eye. There was a 4' tall humanoid being standing next to the tree and a little behind it. It looked greyish but it was hard to tell in the darkness eve though there was a full moon out. I just got a glimpse of it before it vanished. Oddly, I did not react by yelling, or running away. The impact of what I saw did not hit me until the next day. My son said that he did not see it. As I turned to go the direction he explained to me...THE WEIRD tall lizard looking thing was GONE - just GONE. This was in March of 2006. The Denver International Airport definitely has some strange murals and other oddities. I wrote a piece in November 2011 which I posted below. I don't know what Heidi Jo witnessed but her story doesn't surprise me. There has been a variety of speculation since the facility opened in 1994...including several conspiracy theories in reference to underground tunnels and symbolism used in art throughout the concourse and terminals. I've heard that certain groups are tied to the airport, including the Illuminati and the Freemasons...that the Denver area is where the establishment of the Western sector of the New World Order will be in the United States. The capstone, or the dedication stone, for the Denver airport does have a Masonic symbol on it...but many other public building throughout the world do as well.

It has been said that Phil Schneider, of Dulce Base fame, said that during the last year of construction they were connecting the underground airport system to a deep underground base. He stated that there was at least an eight-level deep underground base there, and that there was a 4.5 square mile underground city and an 88.5 square-mile base underneath the airport. Many of these supposed deep underground facilities located in the United States have been linked to the congregation of alien beings, including Greys and Reptilians. After my recent nightmarish experiences with Denver Airport, however, I'm glad that somebody else thinks its creators will have to answer to "the Lord" for their Satanic civil engineering choices.

There are also a ton of conspiracy tales about the murals in DEN, as well as the fact that it's supposedly shaped like a Swastika. This is a video in two parts - PART 1 and PART 2 that lays out these conspiracies in alarmingly weird detail. I love how it starts out sounding like criticisms from a disgruntled traveler - the airport has no new technological advances over the old one, and occupies a bizarrely large amount of space - and then takes a turn to "new world order" paranoia. Even better, there's a detailed page at the "Skeptic Project" that debunks this video point by point. The Skeptic Project also debunks another conspiracy not mentioned in the video, which is that there are secret Nazi messages about a "black sun" written on the floor of the airport. Apparently this conspiracy got started because the phrase DZIT DIT GAII appears in mosaic on the floor. No, the phrase is not German. It's Navajo for "white mountain."

Former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura thinks that Denver Airport sits above a giant network of tunnels that form a secret basecamp for government officials in the event of apocalypse. Other conspiracy lovers have said that these tunnels are part of a so-called FEMA concentration camp, where undesirables will be sent for mass executions (there's a hilarious video of a guy responding to this FEMA camp claim and debunking it - not because he thinks FEMA camps are implausible, but because obviously the airport just isn't set up correctly for gassing people).

This guy has a more pragmatic take on the Denver Airport conspiracy. Clearly, the airport is designed to force you to wait in a really long security line. Luckily, our hero shows you a secret tunnel that leads you to a shorter security line. Whew. It's not a FEMA camp after all.

I have been a student of the UFO phenomenon for many years, researching, learning, and theorizing. Ever since I was a small child, and saw "Close Encounters of The Third Kind" at the movies with my parents in 1977. From that point on, I was hooked. Through the years I have become quite educated on the subject and I have decided to begin sharing my knowledge, theories, and opinions with others who share my passion.

I believe we are presently at an important crossroads in Ufology. We now live in a time where technology allows for the capture of increasingly more evidence to substantiate experiences, but unfortunately that same technology also fuels an infestation of hoaxes. Those in the know fuel their passion and keep focused on the "five percent". The "five percent" of cases that have remained truly unexplained. We must keep working toward the goal of gaining more answers on the "five percent" while sorting through the scores of hoaxes and misidentifications. All the while we must battle the stigma attached to UFO discussion, and the inevitable snicker or "wacko" reference.

Ufology must be taken seriously, and should be treated the same as any other branch of scientific investigation. It is merely an investigation of the unknown, a principle that modern day science was born from and a path it continues to follow today in many areas from medicine to physics.

I consider myself to be an open minded skeptic when it comes to evaluating UFO cases and reports. I am not one to jump to wild conclusions, and when I use the term "UFO" it does not necessarily mean "alien spacecraft" like so many have been forced to equate with the term. A UFO could very well be "alien" in nature, or a military black project, but if we don't have definitive proof of either... It simply means "Unidentified Flying Object" and we can only theorize to what it may be. The evidence and the research in each case will point the way for theories to be born, and if we are lucky we will one day find what all students of Ufology seek... the TRUTH!

Britain following Canada's lead in releasing UFO files

As reported by various news agencies, the British government has released another batch of files regarding UFOs, Held by the Ministry of Defence, the 5,000 pages in 18 separate files include correspondence from British citizens inquiring about UFOs and also reporting sightings to the MoD "UFO Desk." The files cover the years between 1995 and 2003.

In Canada, similar files have been available for some time, and are accessible through the National Archives in Ottawa. Analyses of the Canadian UFO reports have been conducted since 1989 by the unaffiliated group Ufology Research, based in Winnipeg. Its annual studies of the numbers and distribution of UFO reports in Canada are available at: http://survey.canadianuforeport.com

A 20-year longitudinal study of Canadian UFO reports covering the years 1989 to 2008 used data on more than 8,500 UFO cases, including many sightings reported to government and military agencies such as National Defence, Transport Canada, NavCan and the RCMP.

British media are noting that in the case of England, "Reports of sightings of UFOs peaked in 1996 in the UK - when science fiction drama The X Files was popular."

It should noted that this was not the case in North America, where The X-Files TV show was produced and where it likely had the most influence. In both Canada and the United States, data shows that the number of UFO reports steadily increased during 1995 and 2003, dissimilar to the MoD results.

UFO sightings continue to be reported throughout the world in significant numbers. In Canada, the peak year was 2008, when more than 1,000 sightings were reported, and 2010 may reach a similar mark.

It should be noted that the large numbers of sightings do not prove alien visitation or mass hysteria. Most sightings can be explained or have insufficient information for conclusions but an approximately residual 5 per cent of unexplained cases each year suggests there is a real phenomenon worth studying in a scientific manner.

February 2012 Ufo Challenge

The UFO chosen for February by Judy at Patchwork Times was #1 - my delectable mountains quilt that was started in 1998, thus making it my oldest UFO. The only progress made on this quilt was lining up a local quilter to quilt it on her longarm machine. Otherwise, not a stitch was sewn or ripped on this quilt. So early on in the month I decided that I would work on another UFO from the list, one that wouldn't need to go to an outside quilter. I thought completing my African Plains, #6 on the list and not terribly old - it was started sometime in 2001, so this definitely could be finished during February. Except for purchasing black fabric for the back and deciding on what color thread to use for the quilting, that was all the progress made on my "stand-in UFO" for February. But, my hands weren't idle. I was working on something, but it wasn't from my UFO list (sigh). I was able to make some serious progress on this little whole cloth wallhanging I picked up in Syracuse, NY in 2008. Here it is for the January Friday Night Sew In And here it looks today - definitely made progress on something for the month of February. Now for the March UFO - it's #8, which actually makes me happy. I decided when I was creating my 2012 UFO list that #8 would simply have to be an ABC kind of UFO. These are mainly completed. They just need to be squared up, decide on a backing fabric and binding and hop to it. Let's hope that for March I won't have another UFO failure, or rather lack of significant progress. Exceedingly the lights anywhere not sporadic would like normal aircraft lights. The lights seemed to buff progressing firm so hovered in the air. The lights so started to depart apart. Ufo Over Stonehenge Last Ufo Files From Uk Govt Released

A similar reply was sent to a witness who reported seeing "a craft that had green, red and white lights" hovering over the Houses of Parliament in February 2008.

Britain's Ministry of Defense finished up its release of almost 60 years' worth of UFO sighting reports on Friday with a bang: a 4,300-page cache of documents that describe strange sights over Stonehenge and Parliament, and lay out the reason why the ministry shut down its UFO desk three and a half years ago.
